16.5 rims
I just bought rims and tires 16.5 weld typhones and 37" goodyear mts with 80% tread the whole lot for 600$$$
Ive heard its hard to buy 16.5 tires now sooo and i gonna b in a pickle next year when tires wear out? Thinkin thats why i got a good deal ...im running 35" bald toyo mts on factory 18" harley rims now but thats ok cuz trucks in shop for other reasons wont go into that :( Should i just resell these monsters or what?? I feel your pain man. Last week I blew my rim out. It was a 16.5 American Eagle Alloy, hit a pot hole and blew the entire outer lip off of it. Tried to find a replacement, no go. So I lost a 16.5 rim and a 33x12.50x16.5 tire. Pissed me off good, but I just bought a new set of 18's with 305's!!
But I had bought the 16.5 tires at Pep Boys down here in VA. Not sure about up where you live. Just research it now and start saving if you have to. |
16.5 rims
I just sold the tires and wheels for the same price i bought them! I gonna pick up a set of bf AT's for my 18" harley rims, i had toyo mts on but i plan on driving to florida at christmas and last time to florida the bfs were quite. The toyos on I95 might not be so good!

Agreed... 16.5s are kinda tough to find tires for. They are out there, just gotta search

There are TONS of 36" and 37" goodyear military tires off hummers for pretty good prices on ebay, but I think they're bias ply

Those guys get regular shipments, I have dealt with them before and a set of 4 usually run around 650 bucks. They are only 6 ply and they are bias ply but..I have to say they tow like a friggin dream I have no idea why cause it makes no sense! They also hold traction in muddy fields practically until they are slicks! |
