Mickey Thompson ATZ's

I was wondering if any has ever ran them? And you know the rest of the particulars like ride, road noise, how well they wear etc.

Im looking at either 305/70/18 or 325/65/18s
Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels

Or what are some other good tires that are out there as well

A friend just put these in a 315/75 on his 1/2 ton Silverado they ride okay, and dont have too much road noise. Wish I could tell ya how they wear but he just got em a month ago

Yeah I like the looks of them. But for the cost I dont want them to wear out in 15000 miles

Completely understandable. He loves the tires as of right as of right now, but he is worried about how they will wear too. If you can wait 6 months Id be happy to report back to ya lol

Yeah I wish I could wait that long. But i need them in a month or before winter

Keep us posted on what ya get. Too be honest i thing the best tires I have ever run have been Baja Claws! I loved those tires, and everybody i have seen run them says they seem to last forever :tu:

My next tire will be the hankook dynapro mt. I have rocker radials right now. The dyna's are supposed to be the best all round MT out there. Not an AT like yer lookin at, but worth a look. Studdable for winter too.

Everything thing I've read about them has been positive. I only knew of one guy that had them and if I remember correctly, he got over 40,000 miles out of them. They are expensive but if were to buy an A/T right now, this would be it. I don't think you can go wrong with at all.

Yeah, I was looking at the Hankook mt's but everyone i know with them has not had good luck with them

I run them, they behave more like MT than AT I think, compared to general AT2 and Bfg AT. They are inbetween BFG AT and MT in both handling, noise, and wear. They are slippery like MT when its wet on the road. But they are grippy in terrain.
