Looking for a recommendation on tires between the ones i chose

I have a 1999 f250 with the 'Stroke. I am doing a leveling kit with 285/75/16's. now my choice of tires is between the following

-Dick Cepek FCII
-Kumho Road Venture MT KL71
-Wild Country Radial Mud MTX
-Kelly Safari TSR
-Firestone Destination M/T

I know this is such a vague question, so let me endulge you a little more on details.

this truck gets roughly 100 miles a week on the streets if its lucky. the weekends though it will be living on dirt roads and mud, small water crossings and such.

Have you thought about BFG mud terrains? I have 33's on mine and get about 40k out of a set. Don't know if you can get the old style in that size though. Any tire you decide to go with stick with the heaviest load range tire you can get in the tire they will last a whole lot longer.

out of the ones you have posted. I really like the kellys personally. I have a set now that eat anything I drive through. My bronco sees more miles on the road than yours but I also drive a ton of gravel/dirt roads and small water crossings also. They just grip and keep going. The only time I have had the tires even start to lose traction is when I am really tryin. I have also heard great things about the FC IIs. those wild countrys are good for the price but they dont last long. The firestones are decent from what I have heard but dont wear very well.

I would take a set of the kelly tsrs. but thats just my opinion.

Kelly is Goodyear... so is Dunlop.

A friend of mine really likes the Dunlop Rover Maxx traction on his '99 Dodge CTD. I priced the Kelly Fierce Attititude (very similar) and they were the cheapest I could find - but a few weeks to get them in my neck of the woods.

I went with Toyos in the end... they are a good tire, but a costly one too.

I have a '01, 7.3. I just made a trip from La. to N.D. On my new Bridgestone, REVO 2 Tires. Good grip and very quiet at 75 and 80 MPH.
