Dually Tires
Hey fellas...and ladies, I've got a 2000 Dodge 3500 with heavy suspension and a 2 inch leveling kit on the front. Currently i'm running 235's...I am interested in running a larger size such as 265's or even 285's. I'm ok with buying a wheel spacer for the rear, I would like to know if anybody has this and maybe some pics.
Thanks...Dan |
i had a 01 3500 before my 2500 and i was running the skyjacker d25 coils and 6 super swamper ssr 35x10.5x16 on the truck with no problems and no spacers. and the rear tires did not rub..sorry i dont have any pics.
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- do you have 7 hole or 4 hole simulators? |
Was that on factory rims?
|
yes factory rims i was running factory rims. the 00-02 dodge wheels that came with the 7 hole simulaters have a different offset allowing you to run a bit of a wider tire.
|
What about a 255/85/16, its supposed to be a 33x10.50, would that work on stock wheels?
|
Yeah, my rims are the 7 hole...as for those 255's they'll work on factory rims.
|
Thats what I was thinking, the only problem is there isn't alot of tires available in that size

What do the skyjacker coils amount to? Is it the same as a factory setup plus the 2 inch or is it the skyjacker plus the 2 inch?
|
skyjacker D25 coils are 2.5 in lift coils over stock coils.
