5in frount how much back
 

i bought a used lift form a guy on here and it has all the front parts but not the rear it is a 5in skyjacker and i was wondering how i should lift the rear? New springs? blocks? air bags? what should i get and how much do in need to lift the rear to make it match is it 5in or different thanks in advance

you wont need 5" in the back....only 3" if you want it to sit level or go ahead with 5" if you want to keep the factory nose down rake....on my last truck i had Alcan Spring build a set of there "mini packs" and i removed the overload spring and put there 5 leaf pack in its place...gave me 2" of lift without usin blocks with a very slight increase in spring rate...they can build them in any height and they a reasonably priced

would a lift form skyjacker lift the rear 3in or 5in with a 5in front and how much was it for the springs u had made

as stated before, to keep it level, you would want no more than 3" lift in the rear... i have a 3/4ton 2500HD and all i did was install blocks between the axle and leaf springs... it's a do it yourself project and cost me around $50...

a 5" lift would have came with 3" of lift for the rear usually in form of an add-a-leaf and a taller axle block....but these trucks allready have a tall block and axle wrap bad enough....i hate axle blocks for that very reason...the mini packs that i had built cost me around $200 after shipping and took about 2 weeks to get since they are custom made to your specs....i'm ordering a set for my mega cab very soon but this time i'm getting them with 2" of lift and some added spring rate because when i load my pullin truck its so nose heavy on my 25' gooseneck that its puttin alot of weight on the megacabs rear springs

I have some added leaf springs in the rear of my truck... With an 8" lift on the front, i had to put 2" blocks on the back axle to level the truck... This could be another option if someone didn't like blocks... Pros: heavier trailer weight capacity, more stable lift than blocks... Cons: stiffer ride, harder to install... just my 2 cents...

With 3 inches in the rear your truck should sit perfectly level. There are a couple ways to do it. The best way to do it is with all springs, but that could get pretty pricey. You could just throw a three inch block in the rear which would be the cheaper easier way. But like stated above Dodges already have a pretty big block in the rear and stacking another three inches on top might get a little sketchy. you would get some pretty mean axle wrap with that.
