Can I go DOWN in wheel size?
 

I've got an '05 F250 Lariat. Its got the tow suspension, or at least the helper springs. I have 18" Ford wheels and want to go down to 17" Mickey Thompsons. Will this work? What should I watch out for?

should clear i'd think but the back spacing and stuff could be an issue

I was thinking about getting some Classic II's, but now I don't know if I can find tires any less expensive than what im using now. :dang:

How much room do you have between your current wheels and the brake calipers? That is usually the determining factor between how small of a rim size you can use.
