Tire Fitment Question

I have 2" spacers. do yall think I will be able to clear 35/12.50s. I know I can get them up front with no problems but Im not sure about the back.

If you know they work up front the back will have more then enough room. If your gonna have a problem it's gonna be the front rubbin during a turn.

you probably will still rub on the wheel well at the cab. but only minor.

I always throw the same warning out to folks wantin the bigger tires. Understand that the bigger the tire you run the more HP you lose. It changes your whole gear ratio. Big tires look better but if your pullin heavy or interested in makin big power just know that big tires are counteractive to it.

I just put 35x12.50r17 hankooks on mine and I have no rub issues. I do have 2" spacers in the front with stock wheels. I think youll be fine if you have stock wheels but aftermarket's will not work

I just put 35x12.5x17 Toyo m/ts on my 06 and I only have a levelling kit and no rub at all.....However, Dennis' points about power have come to life in a HUGE way! My truck was like a rocket before and now....not so much, it made a big difference and its a bugger to stop as well now, but man do they eat up the bumps in the field!!!

I am toying with going smaller again...

I keep a set of 31 inch for trailer season and a set of 33" for the rest of the year. This little bit of size difference makes a big impact.

Sorry guys, I didnt make the question clear. I was worryed about the rear tires. I ment to say I have 2" wheel spacers on the rear. Do yall think the duals will rub each other.

Are you talkin wheel spacers between the wheels or between the hub and wheels. Between the hub and wheels has lead to alot of grief for folks with these trucks. To much torque and weight, they tend to tear right off the truck on occasion.

SHREK 10-09-2007 08:20 PM

Between wheels
