tsl thornbirds
anybodu run these. hows the wet traction?
dont care about nise as the trucks noisy anyways. tread life? whaty did you get out of them? money is tight and there a set of 500mile 33" for cheap by me for sale. not really what i need but will do for the time thanks. |
tread wear is pitiful
they are horrible offroad not sure bout on road but every set I have seen in mud or dirt sucked badly
had a set a few years ago i think i got about 20-25 thousand miles out of them. sucked big time in the mud. not to bad in the sand. :td:
everything ive heard says they blow balls, but thats from the offroad crowd.
we had a set on our tacoma and and got 8K miles on em. loud noisy, crappy ride, and sucked offroad. wouldnt recommend them to anyone. theyre almost as bad as the trxxus all terrains:scare2:
ive heard the hydroplaning from them in the rain is HORRIBLE, you will hydroplane with those tires before anyone else will
They are not good for anything but sand, they SUCK on the road, wet or dry, they are soft and wear extremely fast, I wouldn't be suprisied if you only got 10-15K out of a brand new set under the weight of a diesel. I'd pass on them.
ok that sets it.. i wont get them...
thanks everyone and hope your all having a happy new years! |
I had some and they blow, the tread comes off they are hard to balance. If you are at the beach they work great if you are in mud make sure you have a strap in your truck. The only good thing is that they make a truck look mean.
