Stock 235/85's x 16
 

I joined the Bombers with the recent purchase of a 1996 2 WD 5 speed that replaced my old 88 Dodge with the venerable 318 that was recently totaled in a rear-end accident.:s: Yeah...it died a true warrior!

Sadly, within the last year, I had just put a set of Michelin 235/85 x 16's" on the old gasser before the accident. I'm going to need to soon replace the stock 245/75 x 16's on my new Dodge diesel and, to save a few hundred bucks, I was thinking about just swapping tires and putting on the fairly new 235/85's x 16's from the old Dodge.

I do recall that the earlier Dodge diesels [1990 -1993?] did use 235/85 x 16's. Any issues with clearance or handling on a 1996 model that I've missed? Thanks.
