Rear Axle Blocks

I just put 3500 rear leaf springs on my 2500, now the ass end sits really high and i was wondering if anyone had ever cut the rear blocks down and everything still lined up right, or if anyone knew the deminsion of 1500 rear axle blocks.

ICSmoke/Ian cut his axle blocks down to drop his truck. The only difference between the 2500 and 3500 springs on diesel equipped trucks was 1 extra spring on each side. The gasser 3/4 tons come with a smaller spring pack.

ok so if i just machine my blocks down i shouldnt have any problems? is there anything i need to watchout for when cutting them down or just make a nice straight cut

Not that simple cause they aren't flat. They have contours to them to hold them in place better. Here's Ian's thread, it may give ya some idea's. Or PM him.

There should be a short block in there that's a little over an inch tall that you could just pull out all together. Don't know what kind of difference your wantin to make here.
