I have been in the tire business over 25 yrs seen alot...a buddy of mine who also is somewhat in the tire industry experenced tire failure at 75mph on his f-250 he was lucky to walk away limping & the truck went to the salvage yard... I had this same exact discussion with him a 18 mo ago on another board. I will be glad to foward all imformation to anyone
Unless you want to get rid of EX WIFE (LOL) avoid Coopers

That is interesting - and a little scary.

Im running cooper ST's and so far, theyve been great. Havent had a problem and they are wearing very good. I see youre in Arizona Rick - do you think these failures can be attributed to heat?

NITTO Terra Grapplers are good in all of it. Nitto also has a new Trail Grappler out that is quite a bit more aggressive than the Terra's. I will have to remember about the Toyo MT's not wearing good.
