Saggen ass

Got a RCD 6" long arm lift in my 97 cummins, it has the stock rear springs and sags like 2 or so inches. anyone have this lift? i just want it to sit level. should i re arch the spring? do an ad a leaf? anyone know of a good in-expensive but quality leaf i can buy?:argh:

Just adding a helper spring won't take the sag out of a worn out spring pack. If you add one leaf that is long enough to support the rest of the pack it will end up crackin cause that one leaf would be gettin all the weight. You can replace the whole pack, you can send it to a spring shop and they can re-bend them for a temporary fix or you can live with it.

For these trucks junk yard packs work well cause very few owners load there trucks heavy enough to sag the springs so used ones are typically in good shape. I fought this problem myself and am in the process of tryin a home brew fix but I'm not sure enough of it yet to throw it out to the public. After this upcoming hay season if everything goes well I should have pics and details posted.

Just to lift the rear end here's another option. Won't fix the sag but it will lift the height. By the way this same company offers some good prices and quality on new springs also, I've done quit a bit of business through them over the last few years and everything has worked flawlessly. I don't know if these trucks have blocks but if not add a lift block

What about air bags? A set of 5000lb Firestones would run ya about $200.00 or so.

If yours already has blocks then u need to get someone to make u some arched springs or re-arch yours blocks are not very safe if they get too tall
