Dynatrack ProSteer Ball Joints

Has anyone tried these new Ball Joints yet or heard of anyone using them??

From what I have found there $250 per side. But they are rebuildable.

The article says they aren't available yet and the Dynatrac site site doesn't list em at all that I can find. They say they are rebuildable in the field, I gotta see this. I wanna know how they're gonna pull those hubs in the field.

I would also be interested in seeing just what is rebuildable about them. A ball joint is nothin but a bock of steel, what are you gonna rebuild. Sounds like just a lot a hype over nothin to me but I may change my mind if they would give enough info to answer some questions.

Called them today.... Still in the testing stage and not going to be available until June 09. Around $250 per side. Rebuild kits will be less than buying new factory ball joints.

But who buys Factory anything?
Get some Moog joints and be done with them.

Diesel Dawgs Performance 02-26-2009 01:51 PM

The key here is that they are claiming they can be rebuilt. And rebuilt for cheaper than Moog Ball Joints.

Luke, not sure if you know of them but, Carli makes some sweet ball joints. Only the uppers are available at the moment though

As far as rebuildable, I'm guessing they use a Brass joint for the actual socket. If it gets to the point its too loose, you pull a castle nut with a spanner wrench and replace the whole socket. Kinda like with CTM Joints, instead of using needle bearings, they use a brass bushing.

there is a one page ad in the new diesel power about them and a real stout track bar they are going to make aswell, I figured $100 a joint

$250 per Side for the Dynatrack Ball Joints

MotorOilMcCall 03-06-2009 01:36 PM

So $125... I paid about $90 for the MOOG's... If these were out I'd have spent the extra dough.
