Studded Tires
Dont know much about them.
Can you stud them yourself? Or can you change the studs yourself? Ive seen the studable tires - are the holes in the tire just holes in the rubber or is their metal inside the tire? |
I studded many tires in my younger day
ya can only do it to the tires that provide the holes and it will only work on new tires cuz those holes fill up with lil rocks, ya cant put em in yersels, it takes a small studd tool that air operated ...............there is no steal inside those holes its all rubber studded tires work very very well on pack snow and ice.........dont work well on dynos |
Weve been having a pretty crappy winter weatherwise and Im getting sick of driving on ice.

Yup, thats the way to do it. My dream would be to have a set of 265's with studs for the winter on cheapo rims, and some 35-37's on other rims for the rest of the year. Scott |
They also put on a nice show when using them for burnouts on dry pavement.:rocking:
