Best Tires for Snow?

What your guys thoughts? I've got almost 50k on the factory BFGs and there down to about 5/32nds. I've read up and found the Bridgestone Revo A/T seem to be highly recommended? Thoughts???

I have BFG Commercial Traction (235/85/16) mounted on spare wheels. They do a good job in snow and are reasonably priced. I've used them for 6 years now (only in winter) and they are still doing pretty good.

Running a set of Revos right now. Super quiet on the road, got almost 40k on em. Probably could've gotten more if I rotated em more often. Probably get more traction with them if I had some weight in the ass end, and they are pricey. Gave $205 a piece for them, load range E and a 10 ply. Other than that, I'm going to get another set when the time comes.

To my amazement I have had success with the Toyo Open Country AT (285/70R17) with 30K miles and have 11/32 tread remaining. Great traction in the the snow. If they are not are not avaiable in your area try Nitto. Same mfg. I would not recommend any purchase from Les Schwab though. :booo: See my earlier post.

Had a set of General Grabber A/T2's on wifey's 2004 Dakota. Look a lot like BF Goodrich A/T's but with better warranty (60,000 miles) and about half the cost! (265-70R16 = $97 a piece). They were absolutly killer in the snow! Even pinned for studs.

I run Definity Dakota ATs from PepBoys on my truck. I started running them because they were the cheapest at the time. Now they are $133 each and I can get BFG's for a little more cash. Great tire though in the mud, snow and did well on the ice the other night on my Suburban.

M-55 Toyo's have treated me well in the past and are really good in the snow.
