Best Replacement Shocks For Lifted Trucks
My truck is a rough ride with worn out skyjacker shocks. I am looking at a set of new shocks for my truck. I searched and looked around. And seems like quite a few people like the Bilstein 5100 shocks. Is there any other options that offer a smooth ride for lifted trucks.
And where is the cheapest place to pickup a set of shocks like bilstein 5100 or other brands? |
I got my last set of bilstein 5100's from Summit Racing. IMO the best direct replacement shock available for not a whole lot more money.

The best price I found on them a month or so back was from Cbrahs, a vendor on here. I looked all over the net and in the end he gave me the best price right here on the site. And these 5100's are great, I just got them on a week or so ago. They're even far better then the Bilstein HD's I replaced them with.:c:

will they work with a truck that has a 6" lift

I've heard that using the hydraulic rams off a toolbox works well. :D :pca1:

anyone else with a lifted truck higher than 3" care to chime in?

I have had the 5100's on 3 lifted trucks. Unless you want the res shocks for looks then I would only buy 5100's.
I am not sure about now, but they were on backorder for a while for extended lengths. |
