305/70-16 Load E All Terrains

okay, I'm looking for some Load E A/T's for my truck, up until now I've run 285's, got a set of half used 305 X-terrains for free so I ran those off...I know they're not intended for highway use, they're the loudest 33's I've ever heard on the highway.
but now that I know 305's fit, I'd like an A/T in that size.

in 285 I've had procomp A/T's, awesome in the snow, smooth rolling, quiet and high mileage. I didn't care for the Bridgestone Dueler A/T's much; the Xterrains are offroad only; I've heard good things about the Kumho KL78, the Extreme A/T and the Nitto Terragrappler...

Local tire shop didn't come up with much for a 305 10-ply...any suggestions?

The only tires I will ever reccomend myself after using them is Toyo brand. Don't matter what tire, they have ran the rest of the market over for truck tires. Of course sayin that I don't have em anymore since I went to the 19.5 wheels but if I ever went back they would be it again. I've ran the tread off of about every tire out there for these trucks and none of them compare.

Most 285's are just as tall as a 305 and they are a little narrower, so they wont throw mud/dirt/snow on the side of your truck like a 305 will do.

hey, I forgot about this thread! my head gasket popped shortly after and I parked my truck for a while.

I just got some new tires, I ordered and payed for Kumho KL-78 A/T's and realized when I got back to my shop that they put Nitto TerraGrapplers on!!:choochoo: so far I really like them. and yeah, the 285/75 and 305/70 are the same height, I just wanted the wider tires, they clear up front just fine and the narrower tires look weird under the flatbed since it's a SRW.
