So, I'm looking to drag my truck at the event in billings. I don't know anyone who does this, and I've never done it before. I realize the NHRDA uses NHRA rules, but I need someone to help me out with this stuff. Is there are crunched down rulebook for diesel events? Anyone want to help me out? This is my chance to get my project some exposure.

to clarify, I've been to races before, but never a diesel event. Where I really need help is passing tech inspection since I built pretty much everything on the truck and I don't know whats okay and whats not.

there is a street class and its run what you brung

Good tires, battery tie downs and leaks is all the tracks here checks for. If you run faster than 11.5 you need a roll cage on any track im pretty sure and I heard you have to run your exhaust faceing up on alot of tracks now. most tracks dont like burn outs past the tree and want you to go around the water then back in to it unless its a front wheel drive car
