Bucket Truck 07-19-2011 04:04 PM

Watch the "I shot myself" video. That is the reason I do not like retension holsters and do not carry without a holster.

RSWORDS 07-19-2011 05:14 PM

I know damn well ramp you ain't saying this is a good idea...

It's only a good idea if ya want to shoot your balls off :c::c::c::c::c:

Mexican carry or any carry without a holster is just a stupid idea....

RSWORDS 07-19-2011 09:37 PM

I know we don't see eye to eye on all things gun related but i thought you had really lost it for a min...

I think pocket carry is perfectly safe.

Well good for you......except that you are 100% dead wrong, it's a proven fact that pocket carry is dangerous unless you have a holster that/s designed for pocket carry like the Kramer horsehide pocket holster..

But hey, keep on thinking it's safe and then post the pictures after you blow your butt off or the boys take one for the team....:c::c::c:

How exactly does the pocket holster prevent a negligent discharge? In my opinion you are 100% wrong. I have always pocket carried for the most part and have never had an issue. Ive even pocket carried small revolvers before.

You hurt my feelings...calling me a moron.....I beg to differ, I'm not suffering from mild mental retardation.....

Why should I even try to discuss something with you when you obviously have your mind made up that stuffing a pistol/revolver in your pocket without a holster is safe...

And if you can't see how stupid of a idea that is...nothing I can say will ever change your mind...

Is a piece of pocket lint going to pull the trigger?

Mr. Miyagi 07-24-2011 03:08 AM

I'd be more worried about those friggin' night sights and/or all the other sharp stuff on that gun yankin' on my junk, than about accidental discharge.

Just me though...

gunman41mag 07-24-2011 07:51 AM

I've had a revolver in my pocket before, it was a SMITH & WESSON 640 hammerless, but what I didn't like was that is shifted around, I rather have a holster, so my gun will always be in the same place, every singal time:tu:

well lets see a pocket knife, change, any number of things in your pocket could set a trigger off.

Years ago in a nother life Rampy attended a Caliber Press Street Survival Seminar..and they showed pictures/stories of guys who had a pistol go bang in the pocket without a holster. They showd pictures of 2 leos who had died.....the pistols had snagged when pulling it out of a pocket..got hung up...twisted and were unable to get the pistol out of the pocket cleanly..

They also showed pictures of pocket pistols, lint had gotten into the actions...jammed up the action...

Anything's possible, why flirt with disaster and become a Darwin candidate...when you have a easy solution to a problem.

Cause some people see the need to take themselves out of the gene pool and this guy in the video is a prime example

Well yeah if you are some kind of moron who would have other things in your pocket with the gun. The gun is the only thing in the pocket. Ive been carrying that way for gee I dont know, 5 years, and its never magically gone off in my pocket. Its not any more likely to magically go off than it is in a holster. Morons.

My friend even if you don't have anything in you pocket have you ever thought about the material of the pocket some how getting caught on the trigger. It like a one in a million chance of that happening but why take a unneeded chance

Its one in a million at best and no more likely that for something in the holster to snag the trigger. Pocket carry is perfectly safe, I think alot of people just want to feel tacticool with their holsters and everything.

why yes it could. it can also turn around and you reach in to grab it and get the trigger...well you know, BOOM! that's if it doesn't jam from all the lint first:humm:
