J frame for your back Pocket boys. Not the best in capacity, but 38 special +p rated revolver. I like it

A revolver prints to much in my back pocket. Too thick. My SW bodyguard looks like a wallet. I have places I go and things I do that paying attention to printing is out of the question, way to busy with other things that need 100% of my attention. Can't worry about, "oh I cant bend that way"... It just can't happen. I agree the 38 is a better round, of comes down to being able to carry or not, 380 is better then my fists any day.

I agree on the Kahr arms. I was dead set on a super small 1911 untill I stumbled across the PW9 for like a third of the price and more the 50% lighter! and also thinner so im about dead set on one! Then throw in a Crossbread super Tuck Delux IWB holster and BINGO!

Sup,
I really like my glock model 23 .40. It is very easy to conceal and holds like 13. oudive Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk....all while doing a whole lot of nothing |
I've been seriously considering the ruger for my wife. She liked the bersa thunder 380 better when we were fingering them at cabelas. I think I will may overrule her.
|
My only problem with the LCP is that its too small for me to feel comfortable with. It feels like a toy in my hands.
Not to derail this thread, but the S&W J-frame feels like a gun, and is still small enough to conceal easily. I have a glock 19 and 26, the J is my primary conceal weapon of choice. I do occasionally wear an ankle holster with the 26 but I still have some printing. Best words of advice I have received for conceal, accommodate the weapon by choosing the right clothing for your set up. |
The Kahr is a single stack(means its really thin less than an inch at its widest) and I carry in my front pocket. No one can tell I have a 40 in there I carry it in a simple nemesis holster and its all good.

Normally the Sig 239 is my choice of concealment pistol, for "deep" concealment or when I don't want to tote the 1911 all day...but when the 239 is not up to the task the 442 works great.

---AutoMerged DoublePost--- Played with this at shot...and if I was in the market for a mouse gun for a pocket pistol.... This is what I would go with...much much better than the LCP..... Kimber America | Solo 9 mm Pistols |

2. Sometimes you have no choice on what your wearing. |

1. I don't like "loose" clothing, I don't wear stuff tight, but it fits good, a tad on the baggy side but not to much.
2. Sometimes you have no choice on what your wearing. It all boils down to what decisions the gun owner makes....what we perceive the threat as... we make our choices and then have to live with our decisions....good thing in 99.9% of all CCP holders will never need to find out if our decision/choices is a good one or a bad one.... |

At this point you really can't beat an lcp380 or keltec p3at for summer carry. I carry my p3at every day with basketball shorts and a tank top in the summer. Use an in the waistband holster and you can't even tell it's there. IMO the best CCW out there. Plus throw some good 95g hollowpoints in there and you'll do enough damage. Better than having a 25... Or having nothing
|
I believe at times having a rock is better than a 25! :s:
|
Having a 380 is like going with Banks performance when you build your truck....cuz it's :good enough"

I know mine is a good decision. Because its a small auto in a wallet style holster or my hands. It's not my everyday carry, its my can't take the big gun with me carry gun. And no you can't always wear loose fitting clothes. I can conceal my glock in almost everything I wear, almost. At time (and this is mostly when I carry the BG380) I have to put my body in kinda arkward positions, bent over, twisted around, upside down, ect.can't and I risk printing or my shirt coming up exposing my weapon. I've tried the Smart carry holsters, don't like them and wont wear them. I have to be focused at the task on hand 110% so I cant worry about "oh I cant bend that way" or "Whoops, better tuck my shirt back in" its just plain not possible. That is why I have a well rounded selection, different guns for different things. One does not fit all my needs. Would I love to have a .40 or .45 as easy to concel deep cover as the little .380 pocket guns. Danmm straight I would, untill it happens the .380 is the best choice for me.

Like I said, I wear my 380 in the summer. In fall And winter it's all about the taurus pt740 40 cal. It's 1" thick and 6" long. Still tiny and a 40. Pics!!!

Now that's a small .40 |
This is pretty much my summer wardrobe. Same fit and alot of times I lose the shirt while outside if appropriate.
http://www.gap.com/products/res/thum...hino-cedar.jpg I would like to know where I should be carrying my full size weapon that is still 100% concealed. I'm serious, point me to a holster and I'll buy it and try it. |
I never said anyone was right or wrong when it came to the weapon they carry. I simply said I think the LCP or the kel-tec of the same variety feels like a toy in my hands. It's a personal preference that I do not like them. Different strokes for different folks

I have a Colt officers 45 or if I want more rounds, I have a Para Ordnance P-12

I agree. And while shot placement is very important with any defensive handgun its even more so with the small 380 round. I feel comfort and fit are a big part of how well you shoot.

I am gonna disagree with you, they may be a small gun and made for concealed, but if you aren't comfortable holding it in your hands, you will never be comfortable shooting it. In order to be accurate and deadly in the right situations, you need to be comfy with your gun in hand and your shooting posture. If not it could very well be your life instead of the low life criminals. I would rather adjust my clothing for a slightly larger gun that set le gun I do not feel comfortable with

I'll do more damage with a Spyderco Civilian than any 4 380's up close and personal...
