Kel tec KSG info

I'm selling one of my trucks and the buyer is about $500 short of what he needs. He offered this Kel tec ksg in lieu of the $500. He has the original box, reciept, paperwork, and says it's only been fired 5 times. I do a bit of hunting but I'm not real knowledgeable about guns. I've had the same 6 firearms for 20 yrs. I did a quick Google search on the ksg and all I got was negative reviews about kel tec and incidents of guys blowing their hands off with this particular weapon. So I guess my question is, will it be safe and reliable? Can I expect to at least get my $500 back if I sell it? Also why the hell would someone have a scope on a tactical shotgun? |
I don't like kel-tec, but you'll get more than $500 for that shotgun:humm:

The problem is that you have some idiots who try to dump all 15 rounds out of the KSG as fast as possible & their hand has slipped from the shotgun & they shot their hand ruining their sex life. You have to be careful with guns.

I ended up with a KSG, I traded a Glock 23 with 5 mags and a couple of boxes of ammo. I find the KSG heavy & bulky but it's compact & carrys a lot of rounds
