Sure fire UDR Dominator

So I have been hunting for a good night flashlight that is adjustable and this came onto my page and I am gonna definitely have to get one of them.

The Surefire UDR Dominator is a 2000 Lumen Handheld Flashlight with 11 settings including strobe settings. I am sure the life of the light is still short with full blast 2000 lumens but turned down it should last quite a few hours!

There isn't much info on the flashlight yet since it hasn't been released yet and Surefire is keeping it as hush hush as possible but when it comes out hunters and tactical guys alike could use this beast!

I know there are already 2000+ lumen spotlights but this one is going to be lighter and a flashlight instead of a giant box with a 2 liter bottle sized reflector. Since its going to be using Light Emitting Diodes there won't be any problems with heat either.

But I wonder what it's gonna cost?

I'm already looking at a 700 lumen replacement head for my 3D Cell Mag light but that's $70, I can get a Streamlight brand new 600 lumen for $50 and just get a $30 260 lumen drop in for the mag and have two good bright flashlights with just a little more on the cost.

Yeah gonna have to be careful with that thing

But it would shine from my house to the back of my 11 acres, that's 300+ yards that I could see if anything is messing with my animals. Gonna have to be real careful with that one but the strobe feature would be useful on big cat defense since its gonna be easily accessed.

Also I buried two chickens a few months ago and something tried to dig it up, there's definitely foxes back there I have seen that first hand and it didn't run from me but that was during a wildfire that was 200 yards away on Memorial Day.

Man that was a scary week.

Make sure you watch the video on the link! They've got this little 200 lumen wrist light that would be great for mechanics and HVAC work!

Surefire makes good stuff.
I'm happy with the one I got.

Yeah I've used many Surefire lights for FD operations and even Streamlight is a good one too if you order the right one.

Flashlights out in the woods are really essential and a weak point that I have. I'm gonna go with LED's and low power draw for cheap and effective lighting!

I just can't imagine 2000 lumens in a handheld that isn't heavy and bulky and has a strobe feature

I just found a website for private made flashlights and there is a $20, 700 lumen handheld that has 120+ 5 star reviews, reckon I might try it out, it has a 1 hour run time full blast and 5 modes, high 700 lumens, low 100 lumens, low strobe, high strobe slow, high strobe fast.
