Btw im posting this 637 yards from a 3" target while letting my barrel cool. Trying out some 150gr barns ttsx with 73.5gr of h1000 behind them. Seem to be running 3240fps. 9.0 moa drop from here.

Sent with a Droid RAZR in one hand and 14,000 volts in the other.
Didt see the target but that awesome!! I would do a 7mm rem mag or 300 win mag, if I could just buy a gun with action and barrel only, and Im not all that impressed with the remington 700's anymore. Im realy not looking to spend over 1500 on my beginner rifle, when I get to where I get one built ill start rethinking what caliber I want. The .308 will serve its purpose when I get one, then I can reabarrel it to a 6.5mm, Ive been shooting barnes for many years and decided to make the switch to berger bullets Ive notice they TTST dont like wind alot... dunno why just my experience!

Here was my view. Target is against the far tree line. I think these are going to need set closer to the lands. I was shooting off just a bipod and rear hand bag just like i hunt. No bench and vise. Even tho those are not nice 4" groups they would all have been kill shots considering thats just a 3" dot. I think the next box will shoot a tad better.

Yeah im capable of better. This is load development shooting. Looks like i need to get them closer to the lands to bring the group in tighter. Im liking how flat they are running tho.

Yeah its impossible to tell any difference between two loads at 100y when a 3 shot group are all touching on both loads. Got to back up a ways to tell the truth.
