Labor of love there friend. Lookin good. Do you have a bench grinder? A polishing wheel and some liquid polish will make mirrors out of 'em too. Keep the pics comin'.

buffing compound to get em to a almost mirror and then some 600 diamond grit polish to get them to a mirror. Only bad part about the stuff is any flaw that is made or I can see now will show up 10X's when its polished, but it can still be fixed:U: the pics are what I have done so far, they arnt close to being done yet. I need to make a order to Production Tool & Supply for some more sanding disks. The T-stat housing is kicking my arse!

slackers :tttt: a clean towel and some polish will keep em looking nice!:poak::yeah:

when done a clear coat will make it shine for a long time.

If your usin polishing wheels just find you some satin to sand everything down with. It's a clay bar that comes in different grit just like sand paper that you use with your wheels. Would make quick work of this stuff, just need to find a proffesional metal supply shop to ge it from.

When I did metal plating and refinishing we'd just polish the stuff up and clear coat it with automotive finish and the shine would last for years. If you wanna get serious about it we used to use Emeron which is aircraft clear coat and you couldn't hurt that stuff with a hammer. I sprayed a couple of shotguns with it and haven't cleaned these things in 25 years and they look brand new.
