Look What I Bought
 

Well fellas I finally bought a Cummins... Its a 91, intercooled, automatic, has a 3" downpipe, 4" straight piped, and now it has a 7 inch stack (pics of that later) The Pyrometer and Boost guages were already in it too so thats a plus. It needs a little bit of love but for $2200 I couldnt say no... It needs rocker panels, brake lines and some interior work but other than that its pretty darn solid.. whatcha think???

Oh yeah, and the cute girl beside the truck is the previous owner and my girlfriend :yeah:

Both lol So what are the big plans for the truck?

For now, body work.. I wanna get the body totally finished and painted, Then I'm thinkin a Denny T Fuel pin, hx35, maybe some BD 60hp injectors... Nothing is set in stone, I'm still open to suggestions and tips.. I'm only 17 so I'm not lookin to build something stupid, but I want the power to be there for towing the horse trailer or hittin the tug pad once in a while.

I wanna see this diamond plate stack.

Ok, I was going to inquire about your age. I was guessing that she's about 17-18... You see where I was going.

I'll have pics up as soon as I get it back, I took it back to the guy who made it to chop it down a few inches its pretty awesome though, Oh and shes 20..

This is from when I first got the stack, I sent it back to get chopped down to cab height.. I think it'll look a lot nicer

Thanks bud, Oh while I'm thinking about it I have a question thats a little off topic... I know in 2nd Gen 12v's the KDP is a major issue, but what about my 1st gen? ...Does it even have a KDP??

nice truck man im 17 too and i had a 93 cummins with 80hp injectors hx 35 and denny t. oh and gov spring and 60lb valve springs. and it ran dang good wish i would have kept it.

Can't beleive you stole a first gen for only 2200 bucks!

Now, that truck would be DAMN perfect it was a stick shift, but it's still a damn GREAT truck!

I would leave the body work for last, done want to mess up the paint job, when doing work to the truck, just saying.:nope:

oh, when i first read it i thought you meant, she was the previous owners gf and now shes yours! lol

I agree, I guess its not the first thing really, paint will be very last after I'm done underneath and under the hood so I dont risk messing anything up.. But Body work is gonna be going on real soon for inspection purposes not cosmetic purposes

It woulda been stupid to walk away from, I live in PA so all the 1st gens that are nice enough to bother with are about $4000-$6000.. so I was prett pleased to find one that cheap
