here is my pile.....35's on stock 6.5" wide wheels, tint, mirrors( can still see holes from old.)

Before.... what i started with that i bought off my dad... only difference was those wheels were chrome.

haha thanks i think so too. my dad had those put on not long after he got truck brand new in late 96. its a 97 lol. then it was repainted in early 2000 or 01' and he put those mirrors back on and i was like nooooooooooooooooooo lol. obviously its a crappy macco paintjob one stage because paint is already missing on hood. so paint is in the future some time of this truck. but yeh whats funny is way it is now even with holes in doors still looks 100% better even up close then did with old mirrors lol.

I agree. I would take the holes over those chrome nightmares!

The paint is bad? How is the rust? Pretty clean?

far away paint looks good. up close its all faded on bed and hood has some missing paint like in third to last pic when in middle of road if you look close you can see these grey spots on drivers side. thats where paints is flaking off. i mean ive had it almost a year and a half and never waxed it. because since i bought it the paint has looked bad, so didnt bother because it needs paint. besides it was a cheap macco job so it wouldnt matter if waxed or not. thats one thing my dad didnt take care of really was the paint. everything else was great. and rust..... There is no rust. only surface rust when u open doors at bottom lip of doors and thats it. overall its in great shape. well minus it needing a trans soon. think im going nv4500 swap when this stock auto finally stops working. lol :jump:

These are from 4 months ago, currently has a blown head gasket. Getting a new bumper and billet grill and headlights.

got some tow mirrors on it not too long ago, need to upload them.

PLMCRZY- I have the exact same rig and i was wonderin do you have any suspension or anything done to that? also what size rims and tires are those i really like the way it looks!

Anyways overload springs are taken out in the back, rims are 18x10 with 325s They are WIDE going with something smaller soon.

Yes on the front you have to trim the valence a little and if you hit a big bump they will rub on the inside.

Just an ebay set. i have a set of hids to put in them just havent got to it yet. just make sure to get the smoked ones and not the black housing ones:tu:

Taking the new one to get the hail damage fixed

This truck was completely stock when i got it. Shes come a long way since then !!

vcustoms86, I think that bumper is growing on me! I was looking at getting the one with no lights or vent cut outs... How did the installation of it go? Everything seemed to fit well?

I would get the the cutouts. Even if you dont run lights you could run an intake tube off the passenger side for a type of ram air. All it does is go over the stock bumper. You get templates for where the lights go so you know what to cut out. It uses 3M tape to hold to the bumper and Im very surprised at how well it holds. I havent had any problems with it. I like it. Just something different from everyone else.:c:
