Changes In My Truck Since New
This is when she was brand new. I added the steps, box, vent visors, and splash gaurds. Sorry no pics of her naked. Notice the tiny 245/70 tires.
I finally got chrome clad rims in this one.
Then it went to this. 285/70 BFG tires, bushwackers, gauges and 5" stacks and decals.

Now she looks like this. 6" Silverline stacks and Motometal rims. Onyx on the rockers, frame and around the wheel wells where the fender flares rubbed the paint off.

Thanks bud, I like my new bigger stacks now. I set off alarms with these babys.

Onyx is about the same as the spray on bedliners only A LOT STRONGER. A company that I worked for here does it and for a demo, the sprayed a thin plywood speaker box with about an 1/8" coating. You can beat that box (no pun intended) and it will not break. My truck has a little over a 1/4" sprayed on it. My buddy and I did it just like a paint job. We sanded and cleaned like hell then he sprays it on while it's hot and it cools instantly and sticks to anything and everything.

That onyx stuff, is that a plural component material. Is it a polyurea?

I honestly couldn't answer that. It does go on in two coats though. First coat is slick like paint would be and then you spray on the texture. Both go on very hot then cool and can be touched instanly and both coats are shot on with the same gun.
