Sap and Tar
What's the best and cheapest way to get dried pine sap off of my hood, and tar off my bed? I'm looking for something fairly cheap as I'm limited with money as I have maintenance that's due.

I like Goo Gone and some elbow grease. :tu:

Where can I get that at?

WD-40 is best for removing tar & bugs

I tried WD-40 and it didn't work. I'm going to run to carquest in the morning and get some Goo Gone I guess. I really don't wanna have my truck repainted again. It was done last summer.

I know this is an old thread and I if you would like to flame me for posting that's fine but no one responded.
Try using diesel. It will remove tar and oil I haven't tried it on sap but it should work. You will need to then wash and wax after just as if you were to use goo gone or wd-40. |
I've tried all these methods and it hasn't worked so far. But I'm going to keep trying. I have a car show coming up March 11th through 13th. I'm going to get her all pretty before the show.
