western hauler bed for my titan
 

i photoshopped my avatar to have a western hauler bed on my titan. i want to have one but i cant find a company that will manufacture for a titan. i asked on the titantalk boards and the best conclusion i have come to is to make my own. it wont be much heavier than the bed and ill just weld the goose neck ball to the bed and the bed to the frame so i know it will be strong. for thise reason i cant make it out of aluminum because it would rip

i have a dana60 axle under the rear so i know that will hold up. i want to tow my 36' trailer so i think all ill need will be different spring packs under the rear and maybe airbags

i may also put duals on the rear when i get new tires. is it easy to convert a dana60 to a dually?

does anyone have ideas on this or know how i should go about this

I've seen adapters that will convert single to dual wheels. Something like this:

Dually Wheels Adapter Conversion Kits

But I think you'd be better off converting to a D80 out of a 1-ton. That way you'd have something already setup for dual rear wheels, and you'd have the added strength of the D80.
