I did a little trading for pumps. Have a friend with a 4wd drag truck, had trouble getting into the 10's with a 12mm pump, so we are swaping pumps. He's been running 11.30's pretty consistant no mater how he set the truck up. Tried different twins, and different converters but he would run out of fuel on the big end.
So he is getting my 13mm pump that was built by DEP out in Iowa. For sure a SWEET pump in the right application!!! Flowed out at 875cc!!
Also, the tires are recaped Kuhmo tires that are hand cut. I DO NOT reccomend these tires for the street!!!!! They are made for off road racing and are SUPER SOFT!!!! But they are spoken for,,,,,if I can find some 33x15.5 or 35x13.5 tires to get.......Those suckers are hard to find!!!!
Now Im working on getting the pump adjusted to my truck. It was set up for a super loose converter and doesnt like my tight converter!!!! Sucker bogs down like crazy at idle!!!! So hopefully I can get that figured out today, and then come the videos.
Dyno Video comming Oct. 23 BTW........
