Golf Carting It...

Life is a one big progression.. Case in point...
Owning two Cummins from my hobby and liking to travel I naturally bought a camper to go on trips. Well now that I go camping I needed a cart to cruise around in! Isn't it great how these things work! :lhmo: Anyway some friends had this old Yamaha sitting behind the shed and told me to take it, he was tired of cutting grass around it... It's a 1992 G9E. ' Attachment 45427 Attachment 45428 Attachment 45429 It has no battery's but I hooked up two 12v I had just to make sure it was running. Click for video, it will scratch the wheels no problem, and this is with 24v instead of the 36v it should have. Aso thinking of upping it to a 48v cart... :D http://s211.photobucket.com/albums/bb122/RESWORDS/Golf%20Cart/?action=view¤t=GolfCartTestRun.mp4 Gonna go through and clean, paint, and fix the little things that are wrong. I need to fab up new battery trays as the old ones are rusted but other then that it looks real solid. Plans are for a nice flame red paint job, some big black wheels and low profile tires. Also I've seen a few air ride carts... I'm thinking yes! |
