getting soot off my bed
Any tips on how to get soot off of my bed? Or basically is soap and water and a lot of scubbing the only way? Any easier ways?

Simple Green!

Simple green, but cut any cleaner at least 2:1 with water, I use LA's Totally Awesome cut down 4:1.
If you can find LA's that is what I use on the under carriage at a 4:1 in a 1 gallon pump bottle, cleans it right up. I found it at one of those dollar stores and use the different kinds for everything. |
Thanks for the replies! Ill have to see if I can find either of those around here, pretty sure I've seen simple green

As long as it doesn't peel off the paint ill try anything to clean it up ha its just starting to look bad and when I put on my new exhaust it should dump it out back a little better

I have used purple power for years and love it works good on the windshield too

I use wd-40 to get the soot off my bed, and it also works on tar.

Also, this may be a dumb question, but is it ok to use that on my chrome bumper to take off soot? |

I think I just bought that stuff the other day for use on other stuff. I didn't know you could use it on paint- I will try it.
