whose lazy??

aightm, I know someone out here has to be lazy and take their truck to local business and have it detailed, so who does it?? and whats the average price of a full exterior detail(wash, wax, buf, fresh paint in the fender wells, and engine detail)??

coyropin 04-29-2010 03:39 AM

Im way to picky so i do my own once a year i do the full detail pull seats out, tear dash apart, paint my undercarriage my bed gets painted. It turns out to being a new truck. plus my bed is too wide anyway to fit in there carwashs:ouch:

NICE!! On another note, this isnt like a water works, its an individual who hand washes and all. :yeah:

There is a place here that hand washes and does interior for $25 on trucks! But I haven't been yet although I have seen some trucks they do and they looke good. But yes I'm lazy I'm currently trying to talk a friend into waxing my truck for me lol. A place down the road washes and wax's truck for $200. While I'm lazy I'm also cheap and cheap overrides the lazy part.

smokeeaterlb7 04-29-2010 08:02 AM

so if they wash and wax for 200, then 175 for all the services mentioned is smoking deal:humm:???

OneBadBia 04-29-2010 08:44 AM

The places that charges $25 is different from the place that charges $200 for wash and wax. $25 is a hand wash by some random guys that rent a bay at a do it yourself car wash, the $200 is a actual car wash place.

DIRTYMAX2004 04-29-2010 09:32 AM

it usually averages around $200 give or take for the interior and to buff and wax the exterior is about $250 give or take. remember you pay for what what you get and always research the place before you take your truck there. Im lazy and usually pay to get it done after winter.

im pretty lazy, i take all my trucks to the car wash and have them detailed. cost about $80 but it worth it.

i used to detail back in HS. we had 4 packages all under $30 anything after that was detailing. wax and wash was $45, and everything else was about $150 up to $600. from clay baring to wet sanding, rim rash repair, paintless dent removal, tar removal, engine detail, clear coat repair, and showroom detailing.

one good thing is i can clean my truck legitttt. show room ready 7 days a week my entire senior year. best lookin truck in the HS parking lot. and yes, you get what you pay for.
