Gauges Are In!!

Ok, It has been a long day/night. I am pretty particular so I took me time.

of course you have to remove the A-pillar but I have my LED for my alarm so I could not remove it TOTALLY so it was a PIA!

Here is a side shot of the gauge in the Autometer cup

I had to trim the mounting studs so the gauge would fit in the cup

There is a reflection from the flash since I did not get done til 10:30 PM

Front shot of the gauges and XLR8R plate. I did not order the tranny temp gauge yet. am waiting on the tranny pan to arrive SHANE!! LOL!!

The lighting on the Pro Comp Ultra Lite II are very nice. not too bright and VERY easy to read. Thanks Mike for suggesting the II series!!

All in all, I am very happy with the results. I opted for a stainless braided line for the boost gauge and it touches the glass slightly so I am going to have to use some split loom (which sucks) so it does not rub the glass. Took a round file to notch the A-pillar to route the wires into the pillar. I used a wire from the power pedals plug for the ignition on wire for the EGT gauge, orange/brown wire from the headlight switch for the dimmer (LED's don't dim all that well I found out).

Good job, looks great.

IMHO, guages are the FIRST mod that should be done when considering perfomance add-ons.

Hope they work well for you. :c:

I have the Ultralite IIs as well. I got mine a few years ago before they came out and they have performed flawlessly ever since. Good choice.
