Wow! That thing is SICK! :rocking:

cool deal, get them (D&J Precision) to come over here and tell us more about the setup.

i assume this requires extensive work to the head milling off the old intake and taping new holes etc.....

Hightech_Redneck 03-08-2010 12:11 PM

your looking at around $2000 for these, it is done now and it is sweet, it is at the polisher and as soon as it comes back i'll post more pictures, yes you do have to mill the head off but this is pretty inexpessive and you have to do this to port intake side anyways, I have seen some other plenums but this thing is off the wall purty, Tons of thanks to D&J Precision

having an intake milled off a head like that by a competent machine shop is not "inexpensive" and I have a head that HAS been ported on the intake side that still has the stock intake setup on it, so it doesn't have to be done to port a head, it does make it easier but not necessary. Does the $2000 include the milling of the head and drilling and tapping of the holes to bolt the intake to the head? Does this price also include the custom injection lines that will be required for this setup to be ran on a 12v truck?

I will mill the side off your head and drill and tap for $150.00 I will have to think about the lines but if I had to guess somewhere between 500-600 I will get back to you when I know for sure

Benjamin 04-03-2010 09:51 PM

IMO all that should be included in the price of the intake since it is required for that intake to work.

D&J Precision 04-03-2010 10:01 PM

I did not include it because many people do not need the work on the head because they are either having another shop working on the head, or they have access to a local machine shop that can do the work, also some guys can bend there own lines. Everyone has some sort of different requirements. It is hard to make something like that one size fits all some guys will require front entrance for the plenum and some will need it to enter the rear, also hood clearance and cowel clearance will be a issue. So I will have to make adjustments depending on what the customers individual needs are.

4BTSierra 07-05-2010 01:44 AM

that looks sweet could you do one for a 3.9 4bt

D&J Precision 07-05-2010 09:54 PM

Sure anyone else interested it would help with pricing one off peices are very time consuming.
