My New To Me 2nd Gen.
 

I just picked her up today. So far I love it. Not the speed demon my 05 is, but none the less an awesome truck. It's an 01 5 speed SO. 102k on the clock, with all the power options and perfect inside and out. The Dodge dealership was asking $19k for it and didn't want to budge, so I went to their sister dealership, which now sells Kia and I ended up paying only $14k for it. I think I got a hell of a deal after doing a lot of research.

looks good Mike, any plans on getting a normal bed for it or will this be your work truck and be used to store stuff in the bed?

EDIT : is that a Chevrolet tail light lens on the bed? looks like either a Van (Astro) or the regular 90's body CK truck lens.

I hadn't really thought about swapping the bed. I like having all that room to put groceries and stuff and still have the regular bed space in the middle. Beats the hell out of trying to stuff everything in the backseat of the 05. It really doesen't seem like it is all that heavy anyway. It is one of those that is fiberglass and aluminum. Not sure about the tail lights, I'll look today and see if they have anything on them.

Actually it was. It was bought new from the dealership where I found it as a C&C. From what I can tell, it was used mostly in the summer as an irrigation install truck and kept in a garage. I know it was worked at least a little bit due to the brake controller under the dash.

Glad to see ya back Buddy. That has got to be one of the cleanest work I've ever seen in my life. Once in a lifetime find there.

Very nice clean looking "work" truck very good find for what it was intended for.

There was nothing on the tail lights, but here is the manufacturer.

The only difference with mine is that there are lights under the tailgate and recessed into the bumper.

oh ok, they just don't scream Dodge to me that is why i asked.... anywho didn't realize it was glass and aluminum, tons of extra storage for the weight trade off..... almost enough room to put Mikey in one of the side spots....

Hell I'd just call studio apartments and rent the sections out for cheap livin space.:tu:

That truck would have been bought as a chassis cab and the body put on by an "upfitter". I don't believe any of the three American truck manufacturers offer a body like that out of the factory, hence the lights not "screaming Dodge" to you.

the tail light's look more like the one's on my e250 work van.
i thought all these dodge's came with brake controller's?anyway's,we all know the cummin's is up to the task and keep's begging for more:yeah:
