I'll be leaving the non-I/Ced 1st gen bracket this winter... :rocking: 7.3 Powerstroke I/C!!! It needs some fins straigtend up but there is no hole in the tubes!

So your gonna adapt this into your 89 dodge? I was wondering how well it fits width wise to the radiator? It should really improve the power, how many horses do you think it will give ya?
|
Going from non-I/Ced to I/Ced so it should be a HUGE improvement. Some speculate up to 100HP.

good tip thanks:U:

awesome ! :choochoo:
|
i always thought you injected after the intercooler
|
after the closer you can get it to the combustion chamber the harder the "hit" will be felt
|
Nitrous after the cooler

Unless you've got so much fuel you've got to keep the cooler cool :argh:

I have heard this... I wonder why that is, Its not like there is less nitrous in teh system the sooner in th pipe it goes in... The only place for it to go is the intake.

It is a BIG improvement. You will need to trim a little off of the side of the radiator metal(what is on the rad that bolts to the support). I put mine in and was up and running in about 4 hours. You will also need a custom intake because of how the master cylinder sits in the non ic trucks. I used one from a bus has a nice large 3" opening and also has pre tapped holes in both sides for the laughing gas. Here is a pick of how mine looks behind the grill and also one of the intake.
