New toy - Boat

I went with an older boat with a smaller motor, as this is my first one.
Never even drove a boat before, this ought to be interesting.
Guess I had better get insurance before I take it out for the first time :lol88:

Nice boat. That is almost identical to my Duracraft. First thing you need is a depth finder so you don't tear off the prop. You shouldn't have any problems though. Just takes a little practice getting lined up to put it back on the trailer. Just make sure that you don't have the trailer all the way in the water, but as I said it just takes some practice to figure out where the correct depth is. :ok1:

x2 on that info. Usually a good rule of thumb on loading it is, back the trailer in the water to where the fenders are just under the water.

look as though you have a small johnson....

lol, but anyway, it will be fun!!!!!! enjoy it, and its not to hard todrive. docking may be another story though. idc what anyone tells you, get that thing winteized in the winter. were having to spend about 5k to swap in a new 5.0l engine b/c the frozen water cracked the block....

watch out they dont have brakes :D

easy way when loading it, you don't have to drive it all the way to the front of the trailer, just have it get stuck on the trailer so you can which it up there and cut off the fuel and idle it till is dies
