Time To Cool Down Those EGT's
1 Attachment(s)
Well since the EGT gauge in my truck is good for only two things... Telling me when my truck is at idle and when it is not (<- Read as ALWAYS pegged :D ) I figured it would be a good time to do something about it! Seeing as how the 89 is Non-I/C... Well here is the solution!
Attachment 54925 Air to Water Aftercooler! Gonna run a resivor of some sort (cooler, fuel cell, ect) in the bed with a 12V pump to circulate the water. Also going to stick a small radiator w/ an electric fan in the return side. |

EBAY...
Its not huge, I think the actual core is 4.5x5x12 should work well for what I need, just Dyno, Drag, And Sled pulling. I'm just as excited about having something to stop the fragments form the compressor wheel of my turbo if It should let go. :D Dont get it from JAT Racing... He stiffed me on the brass fittings. It says right in the ad "You get exactly what you see below" then that EXACT picture I put above. No fittings came with it and he is telling me I was not to get them. :argh: |
id deff be pissed, thats the downside to ebay, but should deff help alot:U:

cool deal there Bobby.....
i'm thinking out of the box here..... what would happen if lets say a compressor wheel came loose at 120K rpm and ended up puncturing the core of the I/C? :pca1: |
