My 03 has never had a wax job and still looks new...gets parked outside 24/7 My 97 was 8 years old when i sold it and it too still looked new. I'm not saying wax is a bad thing at all, just to much work and time for the little benefit you get from it. |
I love the Meguiers Quick detailer after i wash....
|
Mothers. Used their stuff for years, and now that I can get it cheap through AMSOIL it is even better for me. I have two Mothers Polish Balls in the shop that are destined to polish my bumper as well, just gotta get around to it.

FYI for everyone - DB has been a dieselplace member for a while and will give a lot of good input on DMax's. |
Well thanks DD

I tried the clay bar a few years ago and it just made a mess of mine. Left dull spots every where it grabbed. Never could figure out what I was doin wrong. But then again this is a 99 and that's the only time I ever tried to do anything for waxin it. Once in a while I wipe the dust away from the guages so i can see how fast I'm goin. Out in the country I can make this thing spotless and the next day it has a layer of dust covering it, so now days a good rain does it. I am gonna have to clean out the back seat some day though, haven't seen it in some months. It's full a parts and pieces for projects I just never have gotten around to finishin.
