Zach, stupid question but with your 2001.5 truck are you going to be pushing 45+ psi boost and 500+ RWHP or is this just for looks or what?
Remember that if you aint doing that a 5" on your truck will result in a loss of power - not a gain. 4" is good to 750 HP with out issue. Oh and it's cheaper too.:w2: |
The MagnaFlow 5" to 6" is a sweet lookin tip. Saw one at the local diesel shop 2day..... I'd look into that as well. :U:
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- And thats another valid point as well, but to each their own.... |
actually devon, i do plan on topping 500 hp and such, thats why im going 5" to begin with, no point putting on exhaust thatll come off in a year or so anyway.
sort of like me and my plans for twins, a clutch, manifolds, water/meth and that sort of thing?:argh::choochoo:
yeah lol, i just dont see a reason to buy something to last me a few months then buy the same thing again....just seems like a waste to me, especially with something as simple as exhaust.
get your exhaust done yet?
nope not yet zach, im still waiting on more vendors to quote me, ive only had like 3 or 4 quote me and we have like 20 vendors.....
I have a 6" MBRP tip on mine, Zach. I figured you saw enough of it in Dec. when we were driving around Clear Lake.:tttt:
:c: |
Did you ever get your aftermarket hood you were lookin to get awhile back? :w2:
who me?
no and rod, i actually wasnt lookin at it too much in Dec. as i wasnt thinking about exhaust then |
You can make over 500hp with 4" Exhaust.
I know you and I know that but does Zach know that?
I think he just likes the sound of 5".
Ouch, is that supposed to be in replacement of his 8"?
hey now......even if there are any performance losses with a 5" exhaust, im pretty sure it wouldnt be enough to be noticeable as the DP is still 4" regardless....
dump that sob right in front of the back rear tire 4" to 6" tip. i did it on my 1st gen:rocking:
bah cuz i dont feel like tryin to keep my right rear wheel/tire clean, ill be spending enough time trying to keep my right rear quarter panel and bumper clean!
