New Bumper!!!
I traded my other beat up stock bumper and brush guard with some cash for this bad boy...
Had to cut and drop the mount brackets on it to fit with my body lift. http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...0418080055.jpg But it had experienced an encounter with a pole previously, and i wanted to add a receiver hitch (or two, for a future weight rack option for pulling) so I got busy on it today and built a new front plate to fill in the gap between the push bars, cover the damaged portion, and add extra support for the receiver tubes, which are anchored by a peice of square tube welded between the bumper brackets. 6 grade (8) 1/2" bolts mount it to the truck, possibly adding 2 more at some point. I'm getting a winch for it also which will just mount on a receiver plate, so it will be removable. Here's the finished product!!! http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...0418081659.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...0418081700.jpg And I think i'm selling my stainless rear drop bumper to fund the building of a rear bumper to match the front one. They'll both probably get Rhino lined since i work there, and i'm thinking of spraying my rockers and around the body line around the fender wells too. What would ya'll think of that, yay or nay? I would do it all in black lining. Thanks Eric |
spray away that would make it look that much more TUFF. spray on liner looks killer on bumpers and rockers if ya ask me and you did HA

like that bumper much better than the old set up you had
|
It looks good, great job.:U:

thanks guys!
cummins freak, yea but i work at Rhino-Linings not "Tuff-Liner" LOL Oh i forgot to add spraying the steps too. They only have surface rust now, they can be saved.... We've sprayed some at work that were rotted all the way through and caving in, thats a waste of time! LOL |
looks awesome!!!
Ive got the rockers and rear bumper sprayed on my 01 with the UV topcoat (rhino) and it looks awesome!!! I need to do it to the silver truck. Ian |
Nice bumper...
I would think if you have ANY rust on youre rockers, you will want to take care of it before doing the spray on liner. Seen some guys that have had problems with that. |
Your Truck Looks Like A Train!
