Detailing Products
Just wondering what brand(s) you guys/gals use to shine the outside/inside, hand wash or car wash. Nothing but Mothers here. Great stuff!:U:

Mothers and BriteSide.
|
ice for the outside and armorall for the inside
|
meguires and more-shine for the aluminum.
|
Poorboys :U:

I like Poorboys, but it dusts a lot. I'm a big proponent for the Zaino line. I also use most of the Optimum line, mainly their compound and polish. Neither of them have any silicone. Porter Cable 7424 polisher and a DeWalt 849 Rotary for the tough stuff. All Lake Country pads, and Meguiars or 3M sandpaper when neccessary.
I LOVE auto detailing! Prolly more than my truck. |
Mothers all the way!

i use zymoil a couple of times a year but normally i just wash it and use pledge furniture polish on the body... it has waxes in it and will leave that baby shining
we "pledge" all the cars that go through the bodyshop before we turn them and people think they look great.. but you still need to apply a good heavy wax a couple times a year as for the interior and tires i just use STP son of a gun I don't buy alot of the high dollar crap... 97% of it is snake oil |
Pledge? Never heard of that one!
|
try it... you will be happy you did
|
Hopefully it will help conceal all the swirl marks and such!

Menzerma, Sonus, Pinnacle, P21S, Autoglym etc.

I don't know about the "wax" in pledge. Its great as a spiff shine and push it out the door, but I wouldn't use it on my vehicles in between waxing. Its like using a wash n' wax soap and thinking you are actually waxing the vehicle. I use Hi-temp products. Check out topoftheline.com for other good brands.
