U COAT IT
I just ordered a thing of u coat it to seal and cover my garage floor. I figured i can try it in the new house to try to make the floor last from all the fabricating and wrenching that goes on in there. Anyone else have it and if so how do you like it. Is it worth it?

I used the stuff from home depot on my shop floor. If its anything like it it will get messed up from dragging stuff over it and tire marks don't come off. But, all you have to do is roll some more over to make it look new again.

i have seen this stuff in plenty of garage's and they turn out pretty good when done right, good investment if you aks me.

Lets see some pics and a review on it when you get it down and get some use out of it. I need to do something with my garage floor.

I do a lot of these types of floor applications for a living. U coat is not a bad product but it is a water based epoxy, which is fine if the floor is prepped correctly.Make sure you spend time to prep it correctly it will save you a lot down the road :U: I always like to use a 100% solids epoxy if I do a garage floor. And if you want a floor that is damn near bullet proof go with a polyaspartic coating. Turn around on these can be the same day. Material dries in 2hrs.

YEA SHOW THE BEFORE AND AFTER PICS:U:

I just got it yesterday and will probaly do it next weekend. The prep shouldent be to bad new house only one oil spot so far damn chevy.

Even if it's new Make sure there is no cure and seal on the new concrete!! Any kind of cure and seal will break the bond of your coating:U:
