additional update, just put in 4.56 Yukon...

just put in 4.56 Yukon gears in the rear diff. still need to do the front so i can use fwd. drives great, need to tweak the shift points but seems pretty good right now. no ABS...

Filter delete is not necessary. Some do it to get away from the less then reputable filter head but with the lift pump providing positive pressure thos is less of an issue. I would vote to keep it....

Well that would make it an LML with the controversial CP4 pump. Thay have a higher failure rate then the CP3 but not that bad. Thay fail quickly with any contamination such as gas in the fuel.

I have never heard of the fuel rails ever needing...

I have never heard of the fuel rails ever needing to be replaced on the duramax. May want to recheck that one
