1966 Pontiac Star Chief Executive
'66 Pontiac Star Chief Executive
Even though it's in great shape, it's a perfect hot-rod diesel swap candidate!
This was the last year they made these Star Chief’s, as they were transitioning to the Executive. ’66 was the only year they produced the Star Chief Executive’s, and they only made about 40,000 of these 4-door sedans! By the way, you can fit a 6.5' Surfboard in the trunk!!!
53,xxx miles on the 5 digit odo. (most likely 153k)
New Carpet
Rebuilt seat tracks
Rebuilt Ignition system (from the points to the plugs)
Rebuilt 2 bbl Carb
Resealed rear windshield and repaired lots of holes on the lower "gutter" part of the back glass area where rust is so common.
Smooth and strong running 6.4l 389ci. No smoke!
Drives PERFECT! Trans shifts great.
It just needs a couple things to be road worthy; namely, ¹ new tires, ² adjust choke (cold idle), and ³ find a small leak near the windshield.
Also the Heater core was leaking so the PO bypassed it.
After the little issues are correct, this will be one COOL cruiser! You'll get the ladies like the Fonz...
I’m looking for around $3,600 obo (don’t hesitate to make an offer, I'm negotiable.)
I'm also open to trades, partial or straight up.

The starter all of a sudden decided to act up... I'll be changing that out and putting in new battery cables while I'm at it. Just one less thing for you to do!
Let's get this sold! Make me an offer, I'm open minded!

Today it got a new starter, cables, and a fresh oil change. All she needs now is some tires and the choke tuned!
Thanks for all of the interest. I'm gonna hate to see it go!

Take a shot of the engine bay...
That thing would be sick with a 5.9... Would have all the room in the world!
