47re with suncoast parts

i have a 47re i bought from a member off here awhile ago he said it had 5k on it, i put 1k on it, he said it had a suncoast valve body and triple disk converter, the converter says suncoast so im sure thats suncoast but the valve body has no markings so im unsure about that. it also has a billet accumulator piston cover so i think it may have a suncoast rebuild kit. i broke the front band anchor unknowingly and drove it for a week.it drove fine it just shifted late from 1 to 2. i replaced the gov pressure sensor and solenoid thinking that was it. i bought a billet strut and anchor after i found that was the problem and it shifted and drove fine for a week. also put a derale deep pan on at that time. now it slips in second pretty but not in any other gear. i think it may be the direct band. anyways im doing a 5spd conversion so id like to get rid of it any questions call or text mike 585 748 6906

So I am Confused with Your Last sentence. does the trans slip in second, but not any other gear or does it hold all gears.

ok i only slips in sencond as of now but i think its slipping in second because of the front band. i think when the anchor for the front band broke it ruined the band, but i dont know im not a tranny guy so thats what makes the most sense
