2001 Dodge Ram 2500 QCLB
 

Hi guys I am posting this for my brother he has this ad I am copying up on the Fargo Craigslist. I just thought I would help him out and give him some more exposure. Thanks guys

"I am selling my 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 4X4 quad cab long box truck. It has the 24 valve Cummins diesel with automatic transmission. 159,685 miles on it. KBB value is $11,120, NADA value is $11,625. This truck does run and drive but the bad part is 2nd gear is weak in the transmission. The front band and forward clutch would have to be replaced in order to fix this transmission which would cost about $700. all of the clutch packs in transmission are still in great shape. I have also found a company called Boss Transmissions out of Texas that sells reman 47RE transmissions for less than $1,800 with a 2 year 30,000 mile warranty. The injection and transfer pump were replaced around 8k miles ago. It has towing package but has never pulled a gooseneck trailer, Mostly just light pulling with a horse trailer and not often. Differentials are in great shape. 1 bad u-joint in forward drive shaft. Tires are about 75 percent and are 285/75/16 BF Goodrich All Terrains. There is minor surface rust starting around rear fenders. Everything else on this truck is in great shape and engine is very strong and you could drive this home today. I have this priced well below value due to repairs needed but that that price after all repairs it would still be over a thousand dollars lower than what the truck is worth.
