MAD ECM
 

I have a MAD ECM special version basically the same as setting #8 on the Smarty.(No added timing) Works great with a comp or drag comp. Or any timing fueling box. Came out of my 2001 auto. $300 or make an offer.

WOW I wish this would work on an 02

so this will only work on an 01?

I'm not positive but I think it will only work for 01's. I'll do some snoopin around.

01 and 02's will cross, I ran an 01 manual ecm in my 02 for a while hoping it would get me a few more rev's, but my pump couldn't keep up. Out side of that, I swapped a 2000 auto ECM and PCM in there once to trouble shoot and it didn't fix my problem, but it didn't do anything out of the ordinary.

I cant find any info on it on the MADS site.

Some of your guages wont work if I remeber right. You will have no oilpreasure showing.

Why wouldn't your guages register if it is a full replacement ECM???

They read the sensors differently between the years. Had a buddy put a 02 ecm in his 01 and lost oilpreasure, temp and fuel guages. It did run fine though other then the lost guages.

O! Sorry, I didn't know you were talking about swapping it into a different year.

Thats ok someone above asked about switching it with different year trucks.

I now have the Smarty so I don't need this ECM. Was saving as a spare but getting tired of having so much stuff around. (Cleaning Shop):U:

I wanted it but not gonna happen with all the money I'm spending in the head now.
