2000 Powerstroke Turbo

3 Attachment(s)
I have a stock turbo off of a 2000 Ford Powerstroke 7.3L.
The turbo has about 75,000 miles on it and a couple minor bends in the compressor wheel. Although, it is the "superior compressor wheel" which eliminates the "surge" that the L99-03 Superduties have, caused by the stock wheel. I am not looking to get rid of it in a hurry.
$400 OBO.
Will also consider any trades.
:c:

Chips/programmers ? Intakes ? Gauges ? Other stuff ?

codiesel 11-09-2009 07:24 PM

this turbo wont surage because for switched the wheel to stop that from happening right after the first 99

TS ?

kazairl 11-11-2009 09:28 AM

can you get some pics of these "minor bends"?

PSD 11-11-2009 10:27 AM

Yes I can. I actually bent the fins back, but I have a picture of the wheel with them bent. When I get home ill post the bent and "bent back" pictures.

What caused the bends?

PSD 11-19-2009 09:06 PM

I am not totally sure. It has no contact with the housing. Im guessing something went through the intake and got blended.

Blended, I hadn't heard that one, LOL, sorry for the damage though. That would explain people putting screens to keep animals, small cars and flocks of birds out. Any flocks of geese missing members?
